CONTEMPORARY
Art Tours
I offer thoughtfully curated art tours that transform how you see and understand contemporary art.
With a background in art history and museum education, and over ten years experience as an art guide, my passion is to demystify contemporary art. I strongly believe that the art that surrounds us should be accessible to all - whether you are a curious enthusiast or a seasoned collector; a Londoner or visiting London from abroad.
All my sessions are centred around the idea of object-based looking: taking time to be with each artwork, to let its stories and our reactions unfold.
About Me
I have always been passionate about art. Originally a lawyer, I went back to university when my children started school, completing a Postgraduate Diploma in History of Art at the Courtauld Institute of Art in 2011 and a Masters in Contemporary Art at Christie’s Education in 2012. I lived in the USA for three years, where I gained a Certificate in Museum Education from the University of Houston in 2017.
An art tour guide since 2012, I have a unique insight into London’s art world, which is fun, vibrant and always changing. My annual tours at Frieze London keep me up to date with the latest developments in the art market, while my role as contributing writer to Studio International ensures academic rigour. I have a real interest in revisionist art histories - celebrating female artists, indigenous artists, artists of colour and those working with craft materials. I believe it reflects the times we live in right now.

Art Advisory
Are you looking for a piece of art for your home or office, and don’t know where to start?
Do you value connections with creatives, and supporting artists? I always find that spending time with an artists in the space where they work is invaluable, like getting a unique glimpse into their minds, their materials, and their processes. My package includes visits to the studios of emerging artists in London.
On my last visit, we went to the studio of Romenian artist Mircea Teleagă in Hackney Wick. Teleaga’s paintings hover in the liminal space, where the outside is brought in, and where landscape, the city, still life and interiors meet, suggesting memories and dreams.
